A different kind of Walt Disney World ‘split stay’

I’m excited to return to writing for WDW Fan Zone on a regular basis! Stuart and the rest of the WDW Fan Zone crew offer some great insight about Walt Disney World. For my March contribution, I wrote about my upcoming trip to “the World” — T-minus 15 days and counting! My husband and I are doing a sort of a “split stay.” We had to divide our trip into two separate sections.

This will be a new experience for us. Don’t get me wrong. We consider ourselves WDW veterans. Normally, planning a trip is a piece of cake. This time, though, our youngest daughter ventures out on her own a little more. She’s not traveling with us for the ride down or the first four days at the park. For me, this causes just a few issues. On a logistics level, we need to make sure she’s ready to travel without mom or dad. On a sentimental level, I struggle to think of her at the resort without me.
